HAPPY HEALTHY MIND

I’ve got to be honest—I’m feeling completely overwhelmed right now. Life is throwing more at me than I feel I can handle. Work, family, expectations, social pressures… it’s all piling up and I’m struggling to keep my head above water. Although people can’t always see this, it’s my reality.

And you know what? That’s okay. It’s real. It’s raw. Sometimes, life can feel incredibly hard.

But I believe that to make real change, we have to go through these tough phases. It’s part of the process. It’s part of growth. It’s part of the person I’m becoming and shedding the layers that no longer serve me. This also includes distancing myself from people who no longer align with my growth, which is sometimes really tough to deal with.

A person who is truly growing never points the finger. They only express how they are made to feel. When you point fingers, it’s often a reflection of work you need to do on yourself. Our opinions may change, and triggers may rise to the surface, but the key is to learn from these experiences. What have you learned from this?

I’m learning to focus on what truly matters and let go of what I can’t control. It’s about concentrating on the essentials and releasing the rest. Stepping away for a moment to breathe, walk, or just be still helps more than I expected. It’s crucial to give ourselves these moments of calm. I’m reminding myself that it’s okay to ask for help and talk about what I’m going through with friends or family. Sharing our struggles lightens the burden. Even when it feels selfish, I’m making time for things that recharge me. We can’t pour from an empty cup, and self-care is vital in my opinion. I’m trying to be kind and patient with myself, remembering that I’m doing my best, even when it doesn’t feel like enough. Self-compassion hasn’t always aligned with me.

I have to remember that being a single parent to four children, running a business that has tripled its growth in a year, buying a house abroad, and working on myself plus many other responsibilities isn’t going to be easy. Yes, I’m doing it. Yes, I’m doing an awesome job. But internal chaos can feel so overwhelming. Even though this is all my own doing and I’ve been asking the universe to up-level my life, to take me to the next step. So, it’s creating situations for my growth.

If you’re feeling like this too, know you’re not alone. It’s okay to not be okay. We’re in this together, and we’ll get through it, one step at a time. If you need to talk, I’m here. My inbox is open. My email is available stacey@theclaritycircle.co.uk.

I wrote this as I walk on the treadmill at 7am in the hotel in Porto. My boys are still sleeping. Today we have an action-packed, fun day. Time to pop on my mum hat and go create memories for our precious loved ones. Have an amazing day. Remember to stay in your own lane. Keep being you and focus on the desired outcome. If life isn’t bringing you joy. Stop. Reevaluate and change direction. It’s ok. You go to bed every single night on your own in your mind. Make sure you are happy. X
